The Deswik Fine Grinding Mill is quite simply the most power efficient and economical Fine Grind Mill in the world.

It is a high intensity vertical bead media mill featuring a Hagglunds Hydraulic drive system providing required start up torque with a third of the installed power than smany electro driven mills.

The Mill has been developed in Australia and South Africa over the past 10 years. It is featured at Aquarius Platinum’s Kroondal Site where it processes 31 tonnes per hour of waste chromite tailings to liberate over 90% of trapped platinum, grinding F80 136 microns down to P80 30 microns at an average power consumption of 5.5KwHt.

The Deswik Mill can be used on complex refractory gold ore and waste tailings to provide and efficient and fine grind to liberate gold and PGMs. Additionally the Mill has many applications with base metal ores.
